Jerry Curtis Goodwin, 81, died Thursday, July 21, 2022, at his home.
A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Tuesday, July 26, 2022 at Westminster Gardens. The family will receive friends on Monday, July 25, 2022 from 5 p.m. to 7 p.m. at Forbis and Dick Guilford Chapel, 5926 West Friendly Avenue, Greensboro, NC 27410.
Mr. Goodwin was born June 28, 1941 in Greensboro, NC to the late Curtis and Pauline Suddreth Goodwin. Jerry was a longtime member of Guilford Baptist Church and Parkway Baptist Church. He was a member of the Communication Workers of America and the Piedmont Bell System Pioneers. Jerry retired from AT&T as senior technician. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death by two sisters: Marty Ashworth and Judy Jones.
Survivors include his wife: Jane Browder Goodwin; children: Bill Goodwin, Michael Goodwin (Lynne) and Karen Eberenz (David); sister: Peggy Jessup; nine grandchildren: Will Goodwin, Nikolas Hales, Aaron Hales, Jacob Hales, Thomas Goodwin, Sarah Goodwin, Hannah Eberenz, Rachel Eberenz and Grace Eberenz.
