March 24, 1947 - March 31, 2025
Mr. Julius A. Rankin, Jr., 78, of Greensboro, NC peacefully passed away Monday, March 31, 2025.
A public viewing will be held Saturday, April 5, 2025, 12 to 5 p.m. at Hargett Funeral Services, 905 East Market Street Greensboro, NC.
A homegoing celebration of his life will be held Sunday, April 6, 2025, at Locust Grove Baptist Church, 4707 NC Hwy 150, Browns Summit, NC. Visitation with family at 1 p.m. and service will begin at 2 p.m. Burial will follow at Lakeview Memorial Park, 3600 N O. Henry Blvd, Greensboro, NC.
In lieu of flowers, the family requests donations to Locust Grove Baptist Church Building Fund.
To plant trees in memory, please visit the Sympathy Store.

Julius Rankin is a man of honor and great integrity. When I was a young man, he quoted a job for my mother which I accepted. When I received the invoice, it was less than the quote. I When I questioned the lower price, the job required less work than anticipated. I never forgot the honesty and integrity of Julius Rankin.
