LILLIE COLLINS WARD REIDSVILLELillie Collins Ward, 72, of 6411 Cherry Grove Road, wife of Larry Ward, went to be with her Heavenly Father on January 4, 2016. She was preceded in death by her parents, William and Mabel Collins, and her sisters, Barbara "Pete" Collins and Frances Todd. Lillie is survived by her husband, Larry of the home; daughter, Tracy Fleeger (Raymond) of Elon; sons, Eddie Ward of the home and Jason Ward (Tammy) of Reidsville; grandchildren, Jessica and Christina Fleeger; brother, Edward Collins (Linda); sisters, Judy Stephens (Douglas) and Betty Hodges (Eldridge). She is also survived by many nieces, nephews and a large extended family. The funeral service was held 2 p.m., Thursday, January 7, 2016 at Wilkerson Funeral Home with Rev. Mike Jones officiating. The family received friends, Wednesday from 6 until 8 p.m. at Wilkerson Funeral Home and other times at the home. The private burial will follow at Reidlawn Cemetery. In lieu of flowers, the family requests that memorial contributions be made to Pilgrim Chapel Baptist Church, c/o Mr. Conner, P.O. Box 66, Altamahaw, NC 27202.
