I remember Uncle Paul´s smile and always being there to listen. He always took the time to talk with me when I would stop when I saw him in the yard working. He was truly a good man. I remember my parents saying that he and Alma, my mom"s sister, said we could stay with them as long as necessary until my dad found a job when we relocated from Washington State back to NC after dad retired from the U. S. Army. He was there when my dad died to offer support and he visited my mom. I remember going to the garden that they worked up on Holly Crest (when it was known as the Red Road) with he, my dad, and Alan. He made us feel like family. He was a good example of how we should live and treat others. I´m sure Jesus was proud of him!
