Richard Case Obituary
January 12, 1956 - October 24, 2024
Richard Andrew Case, aged 68, peacefully passed away with loved ones by his side on October 24, 2024. He was a lifelong resident of Greensboro, North Carolina.
Born on January 12, 1956, Richard graduated from Northeast High School. Richard spent many years as a medical supplies inventory manager for Moses Cone Hospital, where he felt blessed to make a difference in the lives of those around him.
Richard was an avid motorcyclist, continuing to enjoy the hobby following an accident in 2009 that nearly took his life. Following his recovery, he developed additional hobbies as a gun enthusiast, and took an avid interest in technology. He also spent several years as an amateur historian, proudly researching and recording the ancestry of the Case family for many generations. His archive of family history and photos is deeply treasured. Later in life, Richard continued caring for those around him, including his parents and his partner of 28-years, Patricia.
Richard is survived by Darin (son) and Jenni; grandson Roger; younger brothers Doug, Larry, Alan and Tammy (sister-in-law); and numerous nieces and nephews. He was preceded in death by his parents, Raymond (1933-2020) and Rebecca (Robinson) Case (1937-2022).
A memorial service will be held on November 16, 2024 at 11 a.m. in the Lakeview Memorial Park Chapel.

I was very sorry to hear of Richard´s passing.He was a very hard worker working full time at Cone mills and attending school. I wanted to extend my condolences and prayers for his family. God Bless you all.

I remember the day my cousin, Ricky, was born. I enjoyed playing with him as a toddler, watching him grow up as peacemaker for his younger brothers and seeing him as an adult whenever the family gathered. Rick was a wonderful person, a gentle man who loved his friends and family. I loved him and will miss him more than he could ever know. Go rest now, Rick. Your struggles are over. My deepest sympathy for those who knew him and loved him.
