Born in Greenville, Mississippi, on February 10, 1940, Bob's long and wonderful life spanned 85 years filled with an unwavering love for his family, his church, and his community.
He was a devout and active member of The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-Day Saints, dedicating his life to the service of others and unwavering in his deep abiding faith. He held various positions within the church including serving as a Bishop, Branch President, and Stake Music Director.

His loving, intelligent, and funny nature made him the heart of his family, and his snappy wit, corny jokes, and constant humor will be almost as deeply missed as the unwavering love and support he shared with all who had the privilege of knowing him.
