Roberta "Robin" Milligan Taylor, 76, passed away on Friday, August 6, 2021 at her residence in Greensboro, NC.
Robin was born October 31, 1944 in Roxboro, Pennsylvania to the late Robert F. Milligan and Edith Button. She retired from Mohawk Industries where she was employed for over 25 years. Robin was an active member of St. Paul the Apostle Catholic Church where she volunteered and participated with numerous groups. Prior to her illness, Robin worked with the youth at her church and was approved by the church priest to serve and celebrate communion with homebound parishioners. In recent times, she loved meeting with her Cursillo group every Monday and having Sunday lunches with her dear friends. Robin loved bridge and never missed a chance to play.
Robin was an animal lover and rescuer of dogs and cats. She will be especially missed by her constant companion, Rigby, as well as her grandpuppies, Frodo, Rocky and Brodhi.
Robin is survived by her daughter Kristen Lee Johnson and husband George of Mills River, NC, son David Taylor and wife Kathi of Royersford, PA, and grandchildren Zachary Taylor and Colin Taylor.
Visitation will be held on Saturday, September 4, 2021 from 10-11:00 am with a memorial service at 11:00 am at Forbis and Dick Funeral Service, 5926 W. Friendly Avenue, Greensboro, NC.
In lieu of flowers, memorials can be made to the American Lung Association, 55. W. Wacker Drive, Suite 1150, Chicago, IL 60601 or Jan's Animal Rescue, 1824 Andrews Farm Road, Whitsett, NC 27377.
