MANAGUA, NICARAGUA Ronald Lee Coffer, Sr., 62, went to be with the Lord on March 31, 2017. Ron is survived by his father, Garland Coffer; two brothers, Roger and Kenneth Coffer; two sons, Ronald L. Coffer, Jr. and R.J. Coffer; daughter-in-law, Miriam Coffer; two grandchildren, Stephany De Paz and Garland Coffer; great-grandson, Joshua De Paz; and a host of other nieces, nephews, aunts, uncles, and cousins. An ordained minister of the Cathedral of His Glory in Greensboro, Ron was a dreamer and a visionary. He had a passion for souls, no matter where they were. Whether in mountains, remote villages, or distant cities, Ron dedicated his life to sharing the Gospel of Jesus Christ with the people of Central America. He always tried to obey God to his utmost ability. A memorial service will be held at the Cathedral of His Glory, 4501 Lake Jeanette Rd., Greensboro, North Carolina, 27455 on May 20, 2017, at 10 a.m. A visitation with the family will follow in the church lobby.
