Scotty Bowlin Obituary
June 2, 1945 - March 6, 2025
Scotty Delane "Tex" Bowlin, Jr., 79, went to be with his Lord and Savior on March 6, 2025, at Hospice Home at High Point. He was born June 2, 1945, the son of the late Scotty D. Bowlin, Sr. and Marie Mann Bowlin.
Scotty was a long-time member of Joy Community Fellowship. He served in the US Navy Reserve as a machine repairman from 1965 to 1971. After an honorable discharge, he received his GED from Alamance Community College. Scotty went on to have a successful career, ending as an accomplished Team Leader with Proctor & Gamble.
A visitation for Tex will be held Tuesday, March 11, 2025 from 10:30 to 11:30 a.m. at Joy Community Fellowship, 2515 Bellemeade Street, High Point, NC 27263, followed by a funeral service at 11:30 a.m. Burial will follow at Floral Garden Cemetery in High Point.
