WILLIAM GOLDSTON Obituary

WILLIAM DAVID GOLDSTON, III LAKE NORMAN William "David" Goldston, III, age 65, died Thursday, May 22, 2014, at the Hospice Home of Rockingham County. A graveside service will be held at 11 a.m. on Saturday, May 24 at Roselawn Memorial Gardens, 1821 Ashley Loop in Reidsville, NC. David was born March 21, 1949 in Rockingham County, NC to Bill and Beverly Burton Goldston of Eden. He graduated from Morehead High School, class of 1967 and Elon University, class of 1972. David was a resident of Lake Norman, NC, where he took advantage of his love of all water sports. He was a lover of animals and had many beautiful birds and dogs. Throughout his adult years, he had worked in sales and had most recently worked for the LL Corporation, a carpet distributor in Charlotte, NC. He is survived by his parents and was preceded in death by his brother, Richard Wesley Goldston. The family will receive friends immediately following the service at 912 Bethlehem in Eden. Memorial contributions may be made to Leaksville United Methodist Church, 603 Henry St., Eden, NC 27288, or to Hospice of Rockingham County, PO Box 281, Wentworth, NC 27375.
