GREENSBORO Mr. William Curtis "Cowboy" McClenny, 63, went home to his Heavenly Father on Saturday May 18, 2019 at Moses Cone Hospital. A funeral service will be 11:00 am Wednesday at Grace Baptist Church, 2008 Fairfax Rd. Greensboro, NC 27407. Burial will follow in the church cemetery. The family will receive from 6:00pm-8:00pm Tuesday at George Brothers Funeral Service. Curtis was born to the late James Carlton and Annie Lou Jackson McClenny, and was a graduate of Ragsdale High School. He loved being outside working with wood, fishing, and training horses. In addition to his parents, he was preceded in death, at birth, by his twin brothers Larry and Jerry McClenny; brother James "Sammy" McClenny. He is survived by his sister Mary Lou Manzone and husband Bert of Greensboro; aunts Malinda Davis, Geraldine Wood, Willa Mae McClenney, and Georgia McClenny. Also surviving are numerous cousins, friends, and his beloved four-legged companion "Missy" George Brothers Funeral Service is assisting Cowboy's family.
