Barry Kunkel

Barry Edward Kunkel, 39, of 121 Covenant Court, husband of Lori Ann Morrissey Kunkel, died Monday, Aug. 27, 2001, at his home.

Born in Greenville, Ill, he was a son of Benjamin Russell and Roberta Maxine Morris Kunkel of Greenville, Ill. He was a U.S. Army veteran, employed by Slay Transportation, and attended Grace Baptist Church, Pelzer.

Surviving are his wife of the home; two sons, Nicholas Kunkel and Benjamin Edward Kunkel, both of the home; three daughters, Heather James, Courtney Ashlock and April Kunkel, all of Texas; his parents of Greenville, Ill.; a sister, Beverly Kates of Piedmont; four brothers, Blair Kunkel of Sorento, Ill., Brian Kunkel of Irving, Ill., Brett Kunkel of Sorento, Ill., and Bart Kunkel of Greenville, Ill.; and three grandchildren.

Funeral services will be 2 p.m. today at Grace Baptist Church by the Rev. Richard Gray with burial following in Greenville Memorial Gardens. - Gray Mortuary, Pelzer.
