Bessie Mae R. Pearson

Bessie Mae Rogers Pearson, 99, widow of Paul Pearson, and former resident of West Main Street, died September 6, 2012 at Magnolia Place.

A native of the Salem Area of Oconee County, she was a daughter of the late Styles Dandy and Emma Eaton Rogers, a retired employee of Southern Worsted Mill and a member of Taylors Church of God.

Surviving are three sons, Mason Pearson of Taylors, Michael Pearson of Greer and Benard Pearson of Fountain Inn; one daughter, Dorothy Waters of Hendersonville, NC; 12 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren and 12 great

great grandchildren.

She was predeceased by a son, Burris Mel Pearson.

Funeral services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at The Wood Mortuary Chapel, conducted by the Rev. Scott Wiggins and the Rev. Bill Waters. Burial will follow in Hillcrest Memory Gardens.

Pallbearers will be Randy Pearson, Kyle Pearson, Steve Gedoch, Chad Pearson, Keith Pearson and Matthew Pearson.

The family will receive friends from 12:30 p.m. until 1:45 p.m. Sunday at the mortuary prior to the service.

The families are at their respective homes.
