Bobby Hand Obituary

Bobby Louico Hand, 64, of 6776 Reidville Road, died March 10, 2004.

A native of Spartanburg County, a son of Lona Bell Green Hand Chastain and the late Leveilious Louico Hand, he was the retired owner and operator of Hand Trucking and was of the Baptist faith.

Also surviving are a daughter, Pamela Dalphine Hand, of Spartanburg; five sons and daughters-in-law, Barry and Kim Hand, of Reidville, Wesley and Karen Hand, John and Beth Hand, Robby and Dianne Hand, and Wade Hand, all of Greer; two stepsons, Chuck Stevens, of Reidville, and Tommy Stevens, of Fountain Inn; two sisters, Audrey H. Bennett, of Duncan, and Sandra H. Gowan and her husband, Chuck, of Reidville; two uncles, Avondale Hand, of Greer, and Rhett Hand, of Simpsonville; twenty-one grandchildren; and one step-great-grandson; mothers of his children, Lucille Hand Southers and Linda Hand Brown; and two best friends, Putchie and Zoey.

Mr. Hand was predeceased by one stepson, Mike Stevens.

Visitation will be held 7 to 9 tonight at the Wood Mortuary.

Graveside services will be held 2 p.m. Sunday at Westwood Memorial Park, conducted by the Rev. Donald Stephens and the Rev. Dean Patton.

Pallbearers will be Robby Hand, John Hand, Wesley Hand, Barry Hand, Pamela Hand, Chris Gowan, Tim Bennett, and Jeff Lemmons.

The family is at the home of a son, Barry Hand, 6756 Reidville Road, Reidville.

Memorials may be made to Reidville First Baptist Church, Building Fund, P.O. Box 190, Reidville, SC 29375, or to the charity of one's choice. -- The Wood Mortuary, Inc.
