Charles Wilbanks Obituary
He was born in Whitmire, S.C., a son of the late Lounge and Minnie Frost Wilbanks.
Mr. Wilbanks was retired from Cone Mills and was a U.S. Air Force and Navy veteran.
Surviving are his wife, Leila Erskine Wilbanks of the home; four sons, Charles Franklin Wilbanks Jr. and Terry Wilbanks both of Newberry, and Marvin Earl Wilbanks and Jerry Wilbanks, both of Whitmire; one sister, Fair Garland of Whitmire; 14 grandchildren; and six great-grandchildren.
Mr. Wilbanks was predeceased by his three brothers.
Graveside services will be conducted Monday, Feb. 20, at 2 p.m. at the Whitmire Cemetery.
The family will receive friends this evening from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
