Clara Harris Obituary
Born in Anderson County, she was a daughter of the late Casper and Hollie Holliday. She was retired from the Kendall Co. and a longtime member of Pelzer First Baptist Church where she taught Sunday School for more than twenty-five years.
Surviving are daughter and son-in-law, Chris H. and Kent E. Dykes of Easley; grandchildren, Meredith Dykes of Charleston, Elliott and Jeanette Dykes of Atlanta.
She was the last member of her immediate family.
Graveside services will be held 3 pm Friday at Greenville Memorial Gardens with Dr. John Adams officiating.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Alzheimer's Association - S.C. Chapter, 301 University Ridge, Suite 5000, Greenville, SC 29601.
The family would like to extend special thanks to Mrs. Harris's caregivers, Katie Autry, Donna Owen, and Helen Ausburn for their wonderful care and love shown to her during her illness. Also, many thanks to Gentiva Hospice.

Dear Chris, It's always such a tremendous loss for one to loose a mother. Alzheimers is a terrible disease.
It is so sad but I'm sure you are at peace now, knowing that your mom is rejoicing free from all pain and suffering and at peace also. You and Kent will continue to be in our prayers.
