i am sorry to hear about my old history teacher Mr. Landrum passing away. I had Mr. Landrum as my World History teacher at J.L. Mann high school in 1980-1981. He was one of the best teachers I ever had the pleasure of taking of class from. To say she loved Mr. Landrum's class is a massive understatement. He would take names of students who talked during class and, if he put your name on the board, you had to stay after school in his clsss. My friends and I were not talkers, but she liked Mr. Landrum and his class so much we would talk just so he would put our names on the board and we would get to stay after school to talk with him about history and life. Thanks to Mr. Landrum, I ended up majoring in history at college and eventually got a law degree. Mr. Landrum was one of the people who made that possible and I feel blessed to have known him. He was an exemplary rolle model and teacher. We all are blessed to have had him has a teacher. Wishing his family all the best in your loss. You all are in my thoughts and prayers.
