David Lowe Obituary
Greer
David R. Lowe, of 256 Sheffield Road, died October 9, 2014.
A native of Spartanburg County, a son of the late John Earl and Sara Johnson Lowe, he was a graduate of Greer High School, North Greenville University, and Gardner Webb where he received his Masters Degree, and owner of The Tailored Touch.
Surviving are his son and daughter-in-law, John Brian Lowe and Jamie of the home; twin brother, Donnie Lowe of Taylors; brother, Lynn Lowe of Pickens; and a sister, Margret Runion of Greer.
Graveside services will be held 3:00 p.m. Monday at Hillcrest Memory Gardens, conducted by Rev. Jeff Hickman.
Visitation will be held 7:00-9:00 p.m. Sunday at the Wood Mortuary.
The family is at the home.
Memorials may be made to Cops for Tots c/o Greer Police Department, Attn: Jason Crutchlow, 102 W. Main St., Greer, SC 29650.

John, I am so sorry to hear of David's passing. it is just so hard to believe. He was always kind to me and eager to do any work I brought in. I just cant imagine coming in the shop and not hearing one of his long stories. He was a talker. He was a good friend and associate in the fabric business. So sorry for your loss.

We knew David from the early 2000's when we lived in Taylor's. He was a wonderful craftsman and so proud of the workmanship that came out of his shop. We send our condolences to his family friends. Donna and David Blamey, Bradenton, Fl.

I've known David through his shop and by doing work for me over the past 15 years. He was a fair and honorable man with a great sense of humor. My daughter would point out his shop when we went by because David would always give her a gumball when we stopped in. We will miss him.
