Greenville
Doris Jean Kidd Tollison, 74, of Greenville, wife of Boyd V. "Buck" Tollison, died Wednesday, November 28, 2012.
Born in Alamance County, NC, she was a daughter of the late James and Margaret Kidd.
Mrs. Tollison worked for Greenville County Schools for over 20 years and was a member of New Life Baptist Church. She was a classic car enthusiast and loved traveling to car shows with her husband.
Surviving, in addition to her husband of 57 years, are a son, Brian Keith Tollison; five grandsons, Lance, Jeffery, Austin, Cameron and Chase Tollison; three great grandchildren, Jeremy, Christopher and Julian Tollison; and a sister, Pat Bryant.
She was preceded in death by a son, Terry Vannoy Tollison; a grandson, Christopher N. Tollison; three sisters; and a brother.
Visitation will be held Friday, November 30, 2012 from 5:30 p.m. until 7:00 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest. The funeral service will be at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, December 1, 2012 at New Life Baptist Church. Burial will be in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to The Diabetes Association, 701 Grove Rd. ISC 3rd Floor, Greenville, SC 29605.
The family will be at the residence.
