Edith Kay Norton, 90, of Greenville, widow of Arthur E. Norton, died Friday, January 22, 2016.
Born in Anderson, she was a daughter of the late Wilton Reid and Rose Bell Kay.
Edith was a member of Truth Missionary Baptist Church where she attended the Adult Sunday School Class.
She is survived by one sister, Bobbie Jean Turner; two brothers, Jack E. Kay and The Reverend Dr. Sammy Kay; loving niece and caregiver, Alillian Trull and husband Danny, their daughter, Julie Ann Yost and son Daniel Joseph Trull, Jr.; and numerous nieces and nephews.
In addition to her loving husband she is preceded in death by two sisters, Betty Rose Powell and Mary Truax; and two brothers, Ronald Reid Kay and Richard Wilton Kay.
A visitation will be held Monday, January 25, 2016 from 11:30 a.m. until 12:45 p.m. at Truth Missionary Baptist Church with the funeral service to follow at 1:00 p.m. Burial to follow in Woodlawn Memorial Park.
In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to Truth Missionary Baptist Church, Missionary Fund, 200 Saluda Dam Rd. Greenville, SC 29611.

Aunt Edith not only loved her nieces and nephews, but she and Arthur prayed for and gave generously to the missionaries among those nieces and nephews (and their spouses). I (and my late wife Chlo - a niece) were beneficiaries of that support and I rejoice to know that Edith's reward in Heaven will be great!

I will miss her so very much, she was smiling and tell she loved me, she was a blessing to all of us, I loved her , Sunday school wont be the same without her sitting behind me she blessed everyone she met
