Mrs. Allen was my algebra teacher at Eastside. I just learned of her passing and wanted all of you to know that she was so much fun and such a good teacher. Not as big as a minute, but feisty as all get-out! You didn't want to make her mad! I'm so sorry for your loss and will always remember her as one of my favorite teachers. Debra Worley

I may never have gotten a chance to meet Eleanor Allen personally, however I feel that knowing her son is a glimpse into what a wonderful soul she must have been. I keep the family in my prayers and in my heart.

Eleanor and I were classmates at Elberton High School. We both took Algebra and I am sure she was an excellent Algebra teacher. Also, I knew Eleanor and the Wall family as faithful members of the Elberton First Presbyterian Church. Eleanor will truly be missed. I pray for her family at this sad time.

You are in my thoughts and prayers as you go through this difficult time. As you know, your mother was one of my treasured friends, as each of you children are. I have many happy memories to cherish. Love, Lillian White

I struggled with math throughout school but my senior year I had Mrs. Allen and she believed in me and I passed Algebra and and on to have a successful career involving tons of math- I always appreciated her kindness and extra help that helped me to become a more confident and educated going lady!
