Ervin Chafin Obituary
He was born in Clinton and was the son of the late Rufus Milton and Eva Mae Young Chafin.
Mr. Chafin was retired from the U.S. Navy after 27 years of service and was an employee of Wilson's Curb Market.
He is survived by two sisters and brothers-in-law, Alice and Stan Niziol of Orangeburg and Jeanette and David Echols of Greenville and a number of nieces and nephews.
Funeral services will be conducted Thursday at 10 a.m. in the Gray Funeral Home Chapel with interment at Memorial Park Cemetery in Orangeburg at 1 p.m.
The family will receive friends Wednesday from 6 to 8 p.m. at the funeral home.
Gray Funeral Home of Clinton is in charge.
