I remember Gary's smiling happy face and him playing that guitar. Never knew he was a Swingin Medalion. I also knew his sister, Jean. I have a friend in Greenville - Pat Gault...wonder if he and Pamela are related?

Ginger and I will be eternally grateful to our loving brother-in-law for his love and support to our late sister Pam. As Pam's eyes failed her with diabetes, Cubby became her eyes. Nightly, he took her to ride for hours and their courtship was much like my late parents. Cubby and Pam shared a love for beach music and shagging. We were blessed to have Cubby's daughter Donna Page and her daughter Kristen Stevens come live with them back in the day. We created an extended family with all of them and they will forever be a part of our family. Cubby came by to see me shortly before his death and told me he had begun to fall a lot. His health was beginning to decline. Last week, on my mother's birthday, Cubby fell in his and Pam's kitchen and was found there. We will miss his ever-present smile ....RIP Cubby....With love and sympathy to Donna and Jeff Page and Kristen Stevens...our hearts go out to you... Jennie and Ginger and family

Cubby was a great guy and good musician; I played some music with him in a band back in the late 70's. He will be missed.

I got to go 'visit' my daddy today.....he was asleep. He looked good and at peace. Trust me, there were many tears shed just out of selfishness, I know I can't expect him to wake up and hug me, wipe away my tears and tell me all will be okay. Instead, I looked at him and assured him there were too many folks 'up there' waiting on him.....after a few minutes my tears dried up and there was a moment of peace and comfort pass over me....it was 'Time'....'Daddy's time'.....he left me and went to be with the Lord and his family that passed before him. On the way home, Jeff, Kristin and I saw two rainbows on the horizon.....not one, but TWO! Daddy was saying he was okay and he was with his family who passed before him. He always said 'Never cry for me when I die, for I'm not dead, I will live forever with our Lord and he will always be with you and mine. My daddy was always my night in shining armor, he was my protector and the one who loved me unconditionally. He will be missed more than I could ever know. May he rest in peace and I hope I have many dreams of him on his new adventure. For one day, he will be there to greet me with open arms when my Lord calls me home.

Will miss "Cubby" knew him a long time. Knew him and his friend Charlie Webber, who also was an original member of the Swigin Medallions, who were playing Double Shot of My Baby' Love. Remember when he an Pam were married. To all of his family, my heartfelt sympathy goes out to each of you. May God make smooth the path before you in the coming days ahead. Remembering a friend.
