Grace Dosser Obituary

Grace Greer Dosser, 79, died Monday, October 15, 2007, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville, S.C.

Born in Toccoa, Ga., she was the daughter of the late Furman Neville Greer and Lola Wilson Greer. She was a graduate of Gainesville High School and Brenau College in Gainesville, Ga., where she received a degree in Home Economics. She enjoyed reading, crossword puzzles, calligraphy, and most of all spending time with family and friends. Her favorite flower was Queens Ann's Lace.

A long-time member of Aldersgate United Methodist Church and the Suzanna Wesley Circle, she will also be remembered for her energy and time devoted to the Women's United Methodist Missions, Garage Sale Fundraiser.

She was preceded by her husband, Frank Alexander Dosser Sr.; and a brother, Furman Greer Jr. and survived by two daughters, Greer Caponi of Charlotte, N.C., and Angela Kendree and her husband, Michael Kendree, of Rock Hill, S.C.; and son, Frank (Bud) Dosser Jr. of Greenville; and five grandchildren, Shane and Alyssa Dosser, Alex Caponi, and Michael and Harrison Kendree.

The Memorial Service will be held Thursday, October 18, 2007, at Aldersgate United Methodist Church at 3:30 p.m. with visitation prior from 2 to 3:30 p.m.

In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to the Women's United Methodist Mission (Garage Sale) at Aldersgate United Methodist Church, 7 Shannon Drive, Greenville, SC 29615, or Patients First, Cancer Centers of the Carolinas, International Drive, Greenville, 29615 Attn: Kim Williams.

Palmetto Cremation Service is assisting the Dosser family.
