Henry Yoder Obituary
He was born in Norfolk, Va., to the late Elmer and Malinda Yoder of Montezuma, Ga. Mr. Yoder was manager of Yoder Dairies before moving to Abbeville in November of 1969. He was the founder and owner of Yoder's Dutch Kitchen in Abbeville, and a member of Cold Springs Mennonite Church.
Surviving Mr. Yoder are his wife, Verna (Byler) Yoder of the home; three sons, Ivan Yoder and his wife, Marilyn, Julian Yoder and his wife, Elsie, and Melvin Yoder; and three daughters, Laura Graber and her husband, Raymond, Barbara Hershberger and her husband, Henry Jr., and Jaunita Yoder.
The family will receive friends from 6 p.m. to 9 tonight, Jan. 5, at Cold Springs Mennonite Church. Funeral services will be held at 2 p.m. Tuesday, Jan. 6, at Cold Spring Mennonite Church, with Merl Beiler and Norman Swartzentruber officiating. Burial will follow in the church cemetery.
In lieu of flowers, memorials may be made to Cold Springs Mennonite Church for missions, 45 Maple Wood Drive, Abbeville, SC 29620.
