James McCall Obituary
Pelzer
James "J.W." William McCall, 77, died Saturday, November 29, 2014.
Born in Piedmont, he was a son of the late Johnny "Guy" and Hattie Lee Traynam McCall. He was owner/operator of McCall's Glass Company, which he founded in 1984 and a member of Washington Baptist Church.
Surviving are his son, Dodd McCall (Dana) of Pelzer; brother, Johnny M. McCall (Helen) of Pelzer; sister, Jane Thurston (Ray) of Pelzer; and grandchildren, Danielle McCall Mattox (David), Donavan and Dylan McCall.
Visitation will be held from 7:00 - 9:00 p.m. Tuesday, December 2 at Gray Mortuary. The funeral service will be at 2:00, Wednesday, December 3, at Washington Baptist Church. Burial will follow the service at the church cemetery.
Memorials may be made to Washington Baptist Church "Building Fund", 208 Washington Church Road, Pelzer.
The family is at the home of Dodd McCall: 130 Richey Road, Pelzer.

Time goes by so fast. First Mr. Wade and then Ms. Mary and now Mr. McCall. For a while there my husband and I were doing so many crafts involving glass that it seemed like we were there all the time! God Bless you Mr. Dodd and all of your family. It will be sad to pass the shop and remember those who are no longer there...

Dodd and family....We are so sorry to hear this news. The McCall and Candler families go back a long way and I have been told about so many great times that they shared.
