Jerry Van Godfrey, 67, of Greenville, died Monday, July 4, 2016.
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Robert D. and Sybil Hill Godfrey.
Jerry served in the United States Marine Corps and was a member of Dunean Baptist Church.
He is survived by two sons, Jerry Russell "Rusty" Godfrey (Melonee), and Thomas D. Godfrey (Angie); four grandchildren, Jacob, Abigail, Benjamin, and Louis; and a brother, Rodger D. Godfrey.
A visitation will be held Saturday, July 16, 2016 from 10:30 a.m. until 11:00 a.m. at Monaghan United Methodist Church with a funeral service to follow at 11:00 a.m.
Memorials may be made to Monaghan United Methodist Church, 2 McBeth Street, Greenville, SC 29611.
