Our hearts are broken at the news of Joanne's passing. She was a wonderful coworker, teacher and friend. She gave so much of herself to her students at Woodmont High School. Her influence/impact upon their lives was tremendous. She did so much more than just teach.... she reached out to her coworkers/students in friendship and love. Larry, sons and families you are all in our thoughts and prayers today and in the difficult days to come. May God's love, comfort and strength carry you each day.

My heart is so sad to here of the passing of a teacher who encouraged and believed in me back when I was in her English class at Woodmont High `94! She was a wonderful teacher who went above and beyond for her students! So blessed to have known her!! I will be praying for the family!!!

I was in disbelief when I heard the news of my freshman english teacher not being here with us anymore. I learned a lot from Mrs. Bachman and I am so grateful that she taught me. I loved hearing her stories about when she did basketball and the book she published. She motivated me to do good and to strive for my best. I am sorry for the sudden loss and am sending love and prayers to the family.

Larry and Sons! We are so very sorry to learn of the sudden passing of your Wife and Mother! Please accept our condolences and love ! I wish I could come over and help you prepare with Bonnie right now but at my Parent´s in Fl as my Dad is in Hospital with stroke a few days ago. I am praying for you all and the family to get through this horrible loss that can never be replaced . I am so very sad for you all . Sending our Love to The Bachman and Barlow Family
