John was such an inspiration and a good example for all. Although a math genius, he always had a kind word for all, even emptying the garbage bins for elderly neighbors. We will miss him. Charles and Jackie Reams of Taylors, SC

John was a great guy and a good boss. He hired me for a machinist job at Steel Heddle in 1965. I also had the pleasure of working with him for many years at GE. He was a brilliant man, and a good people person.

John or JB, as we all knew him, was a true gentleman. Not only was he the nicest, but he was also one of the smartest person I ever knew. He is truly going to be missed by all of us at Senior Action.

John was a true gentleman, a gentle man with a cheerful spirit. I always enjoyed seeing him at Senior Action. He was in my exercise class until a couple years ago.

I only new JB for a few months, however he was always very courteous and kind at Senior Action. JB would assist with your chair, discard your lunch plate and waste. He would get coffee for himself and a fellow Senior Action member everyday and they would make a toast for the day. JB will be very missed at Senior Action. He taught us to appreciate each day.

JB was always fun to be around and was accepting of everyone. He was a ray of sunshine when he entered a room. This is a huge loss to all that knew and loved him. Our heartfelt sympathy to the family.

John was such a good, kind man. We loved him dearly. He attended Adom Olam Messianic Congregation often on Friday evenings. He was a pleasure to be around. Very knowledgeable. Loved talking with everyone. He will be remembered by all. Our prayers are with the family. May God be with you during this difficult time. Ben and Carol Vass
