He was a wonderful man teacher & friend .He made learning fun . He wasn't just a teacher he cared about every one . You could ask anything if he didn't have the answer he would find it. He gave me the love of history and still I am learning something daily.

Mr. Lockaby was my principal during my Woodland Elementary years (1960's). I remember him as a tall gentle leader of our school. I have thought of him so often over the years and am thankful to realizes he had a long and abundant life. He was an impressive human being and I am thankful to have known him. My deepest sympathy to his family. I know this kind man will be missed.

I am so sorry for your loss. Although, I never had Mr. Lockaby as a teacher, I did have Mrs. Lockaby and have fond memories of them both. My thoughts and prayers are with you. Sharon Allen Hawthorne
