Lysbeth Welborn Berini passed away Saturday, October 8, 2016, after a brief illness.
She was born in Statesville, NC, to Mabel and Clarence Welborn on December 10, 1921.
Lib was a former parishioner of Our Lady of Peace Catholic Church in North Augusta, and, at her death, a member of St. Mary's Catholic Church.
Her volunteer involvements and hobbies centered on the American Heart Association, gardening, flower arranging for home and church, as well as baking, and painting. Her family best remembers her love of working in and celebration of nature's gifts.
She is survived by daughters Dana Berini Lacher (Bill), Lysbeth Keith Berini, and grandchildren Dante Lacher and Bridgette Lacher Mont (Christopher). Also surviving are sisters Peggy Joyce Murdock and Armonde Troutman. She was preceded in death by her husband, Dante, and brother, Clarence, Jr.
Memorials may be made to the charity of one's choice.
A visitation will be held Tuesday, October 11, 2016 from 11:00 a.m. until 11:45 a.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Downtown with funeral service to follow at noon. Burial will be at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
