The world is a little smaller place without this fine lady in it. She was one the most gracious, caring people I knew! She always was quick to look at the bright side, to lend a loving hand or simply a sympathetic ear. Your smallest concern was her greatest. She treated everyone with the utmost respect and loving kindness. She taught me about southern hospitality by simply being herself! I loved her, and my sympathies go to everyone who knew her. I will miss her!

Ms. Rampey used to take care of my two oldest sons, Steven and James Paul when they were little boys, and she did such a wonderful job. They have been grown up for a long time, but I would see Ms. Rampey from time to time and she always remembered the boys and would ask about them. We are sorry for your loss. She was an awesome lady.

My sincere condolences to Aunt Mart's family. I am the grandson of her sister, Cecil Gilstrap Dickard. I spent many a summer in Liberty with my grandparents when I was young and remember Aunt Mart from those times. She was definately one of the good ones who will be missed by all who knew her. May God bless the family that she left behind.

Rampey family: There are no words to tell you how sad I am at the loss of your wife, sister, mother and grandmother. My family and I send our deepest condolences and love to you all. Mrs. Martha has always been one of my favorite people and growing up with Bryan as my best friend, I got a bonus with Earl and Martha Rampey as a second set of parents. I love to visit them and talk politics, family, religion or whatever, they are always wonderful visits. Mrs. Martha made the best chili for hot dogs I have ever tasted and she made the best lemon pound cake. I don't know what she put in them but as a boy who grew up eating these, even into my 20's and 30's, I could never figure out what it was that made them so good. Now into my 50's I know what that ingredient was: LOVE. She sent me care packages when I was deployed in Iraq and it meant the world to me and I treasure this dear lady and her love. God bless and keep you all.

I am so sorry to hear of Martha's death. I didn't know her, but I was a friend of Bryan and Leslie and I'm a friend of Sherry. You all have my sympathy.
