Oscar Edward "Ed" Beeman

Travelers Rest

Oscar Edward "Ed" Beeman, 80, husband of Jean Wolf Beeman for 58 years, went to be with the Lord on Wednesday, January 8, 2014.

Mr. Beeman was born in Flint, MI, to the late Oscar Beeman and Louise Miller Beeman. He retired as a tool and dye maker from Chrysler Motors and was a member of Faith Baptist Church.

Surviving, in addition to his wife, are two sons, Ken Beeman (Bette) and Jim Beeman (Sherri); two daughters, Lynn Stouffer (Stephen) and Cherie Benwire (Lee); a sister, Ellie Hudson (Jerry); and sixteen grandchildren. He was predeceased by a granddaughter, Missy Stouffer.

An informal visitation will be 9:30 a.m., Monday at Faith Baptist Church in Taylors, SC.

Funeral services with military honors will be 10:45 a.m., Monday at Faith Baptist Church. Burial to follow in Dolly Cooper Veteran's Cemetery.

In lieu of flowers, donations may be made to Hidden Treasure Christian School, 500 W. Lee Rd., Taylors, SC 29687 or The Gideon International North Camp, P.O. Box 771, Attn: The Gideon Memorial Bible Chairman, Greenville, SC, 29602.

Dear Jean,
Karen and I just found out the news of Ed's homegoing. We have many fond memories of you and Ed back in Langhorne Pa at WEF MINISTRIES. we have prayed for you Ed often over the past 25 years. We will continue to pray for you in this time of adjustment. Trust all else is well with you. May Our God continue to fill your heart and mind with His love and comfort.
