Greenville - Age 71 of Greenville, SC passed away Tuesday March 03, 2020. The beloved daughter, sister, wife, mother and grandmother was born January 7, 1949 in Greenville, SC. She is preceded in death by her husband Alton R. Roach, father Virgil L. Hyde Sr., mother Hazel Wood, stepmother Doris E Hyde, brothers Gregory V. Hyde, Bryan L. Hyde, Danny Wood and Marvin Wood. Survived by her sister Elaine Hyde Steiner and husband Thomas Steiner, brothers Virgil L Hyde Jr., Tommy E Hyde, Jeffrey Justice, and Michael Wood. Her son Yancy L. Dudley and daughter Marlene R Dudley Smith. Her grandkids Brigette P.E Smith and Robert Hamrick Jr., Christine E.P Clark McRae and husband Colon McRae, Catherine A. Jackson, Holly D Elrod, Alton D. Smith and Dorian Mann. Her great grandkids Ray J. Gonzalez, Allen N. Gonzalez, Xavier J. McRae and Ayden M. Williams. Her nephews Virgil Hyde III and Alan Hyde and niece Autumn Massengale.
Memorial Service will be held Saturday March 07,2020 at 5 pm. At Grace Baptist Church, 11 Virginia Avenue, Greenville SC 29611 held by Preacher Robert Pittman

Oh how I remember Patsy from our youth. She was as pretty as a picture and so kind and sweet. Thru time we have lost each other but I have great memories. So very sorry for her loss. May your memories sustain you each. We will meet again!

Patsy was a kind, caring and compassionate person who I had the privilege of working with. She touched everyone she was around and left a print on everyone's heart. She will truly be missed and her smile that always brightened up the day.

In loving memory of a wonderful person. I worked with Patsy at Kmart on Church st.I always called her Patsy Cline.We would talk for hours either about our health where we couldn't have much salt or our kids/her grandkids.Going to miss her !!!!
