Polly Irene Moss Thomas, 85, of 242 Tanglewood Road, and wife for 69 years of Edward Inman Thomas, died Wednesday, March 29, 2006, at her residence.
Mrs. Thomas was born in Tryon, N.C., a daughter of the late Joe and Stella Reid Moss. She was a retired employee with Alice Manufacturing and was a housewife.
Surviving are a son, Glenn I. Thomas of Pickens; daughters, Blanche McCall, Lois White and her husband, Sam, Stella Breedlove and her husband, Junior, and Nettie "Susie" Breedlove and her husband, Clyde, all of Pickens; a half brother, James Walker of Hickory, N.C.; a half sister, Sadie Baughman of Hickory, N.C.; 12 grandchildren; 25 great-grandchildren; and one great-great-grandchild.
Funeral services will be held at 11 a.m. Saturday at New Hope Baptist Church, Pumpkintown, with burial to follow in the church cemetery.
The family will receive friends from 6 to 8 p.m. tonight at Robinson Funeral Home-Downtown, Easley.
