Ralsa Fuller Obituary

Dr. Ralsa M. Fuller, age 77, and formerly of 203 York St. died Tuesday, Dec. 18, at St. Francis Hospital in Greenville.

He was born in Greenwood, and was a son of the late Ralsa Marshall and Louise Britt Fuller.

Dr. Fuller received his undergraduate education at Emory University and Erskine College, and received his M.D. at the Medical University of South Carolina in Charleston. He served in the U.S. Navy during World War II as a member of the Underwater Demolition Team and Air Sea Rescue. Dr. Fuller practiced his entire medical career in Clinton, where he was a member of First Baptist Church, and was actively involved in the Clinton Kiwanis Club, the American Legion and various other civic activities in his community.

Surviving are one son, Dr. Everett P. Fuller and his wife Ann, of Greenville; one daughter, Susan F. Hinrichs and her husband Tom, of Charlotte, N.C.; five granddaughters, Katy and Jenny Fuller and Elizabeth, Margaret and Ellen Hinrichs; one sister, Lillie Louise Moredock and her husband William M., of Fort Mill; one aunt, Alice Britt Carpenter, of Greenville; and a sister-in-law, Margaret Poole Littlejohn and her husband Broadus Richard, of Spartanburg. He was predeceased by his wife, Elizabeth Poole Fuller.

Graveside services will be conducted Thursday, Dec. 20, at 2 p.m. at Rosemont Cemetery. The memorial service will be held at 2:30 p.m. at First Baptist Church, with the family receiving friends following the service in the Family Life Center.

In lieu of flowers memorials may be made to First Baptist Church, 301 S. Broad St. Clinton, SC 29325; or American Cancer Society, c/o Lois Abrams, 111 E. Walnut St. Clinton, SC 29325. - Gray Funeral Home of Clinton.
