Sophie Edmonds Obituary
Surviving in addition to her parents are maternal grandparents, Dr. Larry and Patty Hudson of Central; paternal grandparents, the Rev. Preston and Donna Edmonds of Mayo; great-grandparents, Mable Pope of Roanoke, Va., Polly Bolton of Chesnee, Millie Edmonds of Mayo, and Cecil Loftis of Seneca.
A private graveside service conducted by the Rev. Jim Johnston will be held.
Memorials may be made to memory of Sophie Edmonds to the Pediatric Brain Tumor Research, Brain Tumor Center, Duke University Medical Center, Attn.: David Selman, D.U.M.C., Box 3624, Durham, NC 27710. - The Wood Mortuary.
