I was a patient of Dr. Civiletto when he was in Mesquite, TX. He was a kind and thorough professional and I was sad to learn he was moving away from the area.

Hearing that Dr. Civiletto passed was a shock! I moved from the Miami area in 2018 and we chose him as my first eye doctor in SC. We spoke about the Miami area on my visits to Southern Eye Associates in Greer prior to his move to Clemson Eye. I recently asked about him randomly at my last visit to Southern Eye Associates and when I heard he passed, my heart sank! He was genuine and I am saddened to hear this news.

I followed Dr. Civiletto to 4 different practices over the course of 20 years because he was such a kind and pleasant man. He glowed when speaking of his family, his faith, and volunteer experiences. He is surely missed, but Heaven has gained a most precious angel. My sincerest condolences to the family.

I am an ophthalmologist in the Dallas Texas area and bought Dr. Civiletto's medical practice in 2000. He was very excited to move to SC, closer to his daughters. We kept in touch periodically and I had lunch with him in 2017 when I was visiting Greenville. Such a warm wonderful human being. I am sad to hear he is gone. See you in heaven Steve!

Dr. Civiletto served as my ophthalmologist both when he was at Jervey and at Clemson Eye. His soft-spoken manner of explaining things and his easy demeanor were calming. He spoke of his daughters in almost every visit. We have lost a very sweet man. He will be greatly missed by me and others who had the pleasure of knowing him. We will meet again in Heaven.

My deepest sympathy to his wife and family. I was a patient of his for 9 years. Dr. Civiletto was such a kind and caring person. He always greeted me with a smile and a handshake. He also took time to listen and spent as much time as needed to provide the best service possible. I will truly miss him.

Dr Civiletto was my ophthalmologist for many years. Always a gentle, caring, kind person, he was also an excellent physician in treating me for
various sight issues. He was, without a doubt, the best ophthalmologist I have ever had...and I've had many throughout my life. My prayers and condolences are extended to his family and friends. I will miss Dr. Civiletto.

Dr Civiletto was the best eye doctor I ever had. We talked about God and family. His eyes lite up when talking about Ellen and his children and grandchildren. I know I will see him again one day but he will truly be missed. My heart is broken. Prayers for you all and many hugs too. He loved his Savior, his wife and family dearly. What a legacy.
