Thomas Hawley Obituary
Greer - Thomas "Tom" Gerald Hawley, 74, husband of Deborah "Debbie" Etter Hawley, went to be with the Lord on Sunday, July 22, 2018.
Mr. Hawley was born in Waterford, PA to the late Gerald Clayton Hawley and Clara Betty Kirkwood Hawley. He was a veteran of the U.S. Air Force and a member of First Baptist Simpsonville, where he co-taught the senior adult Sunday School Class. Tom was the founder of C.C.A. Medical. He enjoyed playing golf and woodworking in his retirement.
Surviving, in addition to his wife, is a daughter, Tyonnia Thackston; two sisters, Pat Owens and Lynda Gemeil; two grandchildren, Luke Polin and Justin Thackston and wife Kayla; three nephews, Bryan Owens, Doug Maxson, and Terry Maxson; and three nieces, Brenda Kinne, Cindy Gardner, and Susie Owens. He was predeceased by a sister, Carol Hight.
Funeral services will be 2 p.m. Thursday in the chapel of First Baptist Simpsonville, with visitation one hour prior to the service.

Debbie,
We just heard of Tom´s passing . We are so sorry. We were just reminiscing about the wonderful people God placed in our lives. You and Tom were such a blessing us. We remember Tom as a great man of God ,kind to everyone he met and a great friend and encourager. We had a short time together but our friendship left an everlasting mark on our lives. Please give our love to Tyonnia as well. We would love to hear from you. Asking our Lord to give you comfort and bless you with peace. Much love,

We just found out of Tom passing. We are so sorry. We were just reminiscing about the special people God put in our lives and of course you and Tom were such good friends to us in Greenville. Procrastination has stolen our chance to reconnect with you both but we would love to hear from you. You were so blessed with such a wonderful husband . Tom defined what a Godly man should be and was an absolute blessing to know. He always greeted us with a warm smile and wonderful conversation, even if he was wildly busy or not feeling well. Tom showed us such kindness by going above and beyond to help us out when we asked. I wish there were more people in the world as friendly, caring, gentle and generous as him.
