Thomas Jamison Obituary
Greenville - Thomas Alexander Jamison, 84, of Greenville, passed away Monday, June 14, 2021 at NHC Healthcare Greenville, which had been his loving and caring home for the last 29 years.
He was born March 31, 1937 to the late Jerome O. and Sarah McCauley Jamison.
Tommy and his mother moved to NHC when it first opened, and he quickly became a favorite among the staff and the residents - even many of their family members came to know and love him over the years. He loved making his way through the halls in his motorized wheelchair, and always had a smile for everyone he met. He participated in every outing and activity that he could. He was "Mr. NHC" in all ways possible.
Tommy is survived by his nephews and nieces Lonnie Clayton, Lannie Clayton, Jana Smith, Tena Andrews, and Todd Jamison. He is also survived by his beloved cousin and devoted friend Lovie Autrey.
In addition to his parents he was preceded in death by a brother, Jerome O. Jamison, Jr. and sister, Violet J. Clayton. Although Tommy was the last surviving member of his immediate family, he was a blessing to everyone he ever met and leaves behind an unsurpassed legacy of love and faith.
A graveside service will be held at 11:00 a.m., Saturday, June 19, 2021 at Reedy River Baptist Church, 871 N. Hwy 25 Bypass, Travelers Rest, SC. A memorial service will be held at NHC at a later date.

I am so sorry for the great loss of a dear man. I became acquainted with him when my husband became a resident at NHC in 2008. He always greeted us with a smile and was so friendly and outgoing. He will be greatly missed by those who knew him at NHC.

Tommy was a joy to be around at Reedy River Bapt Church am the many his mother was Ble yo bring him. He & his mother were faithful to the church. He would always speak whenever they came. Linda & Jimmy Ray
