W. Riddle Obituary
Born in Greenville, he was a son of the late Broadus Ezell and Bernice Brown Riddle.
Heyward served in the U.S. Army, worked for the Carolina First Center, and was a master cabinet maker for twenty-five years.
He attended New Jerusalem Baptist Church and enjoyed fishing, bowling and riding motorcycles.
He is survived by his ex-wife, Linda Riddle; sons, Chad and Jeremy Riddle; grandson, Colby Andrew Riddle; sisters, Venice Degear and husband Harry, and Jean Mikuski; brothers, Gerald Riddle and wife Geneva, Allen Riddle and wife Darlene, and Reverend Terry Riddle and wife Martha; and special cousin, Doug Riddle and wife Mary Louise.
He was predeceased by a sister, Diane Pennington.
Visitation will be Tuesday, May 19, 2009, from 6:30 to 8 p.m. at Thomas McAfee Funeral Home, Northwest.
The funeral service will be Wednesday, May 20, 2009, at 10:30 a.m. in the chapel at the funeral home.
Burial will follow at Woodlawn Memorial Park.
Memorials may be made to the Cancer Society of Greenville, 113 Mills Avenue, Greenville, SC 29605.
