Dear Polly,Sarah and Kristen,

Our thoughts and prayers are with all of you.

My one memory of him is when many years ago Polly and I were in Nantucket and he was showing me around his garden in back of the house. I remember how proud he was of that garden! Actually, there is one other really funny memorgy - Polly, do you remember when we took a road trip north, it may have been to Bowdoin and he let us use his new CB Radio and then we started talking some guys from NJ who were trying to figure out which car we were in while we were backed up in a jam at a toll booth! He was so concerned for our safety and there we were horsing around with those weirdos!

I know this will be such a hard time for all of you but hopefully the good memories will help you all get through the days, weeks and months ahead.
