Concetta Catino Obituary
Concetta Catino, a 45-year resident of Greenwich CT, passed away in Italy on February 3, 2016 surrounded by family. She was 90 years old. She was born in San Mango Sul Calore Italy on January 13, 1926. She was married for over 70 years to Nicola Catino who predeceased her on November 26, 2013. She worked along side her husband Nicola Catino at Richards for more than 20 years as a seamstress, and then another decade at Catino Custom Tailors and Clothing. She was a devoted wife, mother, grandmother and great grandmother whose happiest moments were spent with family. She was an excellent cook and loved cooking for family and friends. She had the kindest heart and was always willing to help no matter the circumstances. She will be deeply missed and never forgotten. Concetta is survived by her sons Teodoro Catino of Italy and Tullio Catino of Greenwich, daughter in laws Carmela Catino of Greenwich and Debby Catino of Italy and eight grandchildren, Nick Catino of Greenwich, Tullio Catino of Arizona, Anna Shved of Greenwich, Patricia Catino of Greenwich, Cindy Catino of Virginia, Nicole Ross of California, Lisa Catino of Maryland, Connie Seo of Easton, and 11 great-grandchildren.
A Mass of Christian Burial will be held at Sacred Heart Church, 95 Henry Street, Greenwich, on Saturday February 20 at 9:30am.
