Donald D. (Don) McIntosh, age 77 of Milford, Connecticut and Englewood, Florida passed away at his home on Monday, March 24th. Donald was born on December 12, 1947, to parents James G. and Margaret (Nolan) McIntosh. He was educated at St. Mary Grammar School, St. Mary High School and the University of Connecticut where he earned a bachelor's degree in Civil Engineering. He enjoyed a distinguished career with Dresser Industries, both in Connecticut and California. His most recent role was Market Development Manager. Don had many hobbies including fishing, reading, kayaking and metal detecting. He was an avid golfer. He enjoyed getting together with his family, especially the annual Fourth of July Celebration at the beach. He was preceded in death by his parents, as well as his sister Mary McIntosh Kerri and his brother James. He is survived by his brothers Robert and Michael, his sister-in-law Catherine, his three nephews and seven great nieces and nephews. Inurnment will be private and a celebration of his life will be held at a future date. In lieu of flowers, a donation may be made to St. Jude's.
