I was close friends with Liz in junior high school. I am so saddened by her passing. I just remember she was so brilliant, fun, full of curiosity about life and hearing about all she did and contributed to the arts is so inspiring. God speed.

I loved Elizabeth so much, we all did, and was so saddened to learn of her passing. She meant so much to me the last 20 years, since we worked on documenting Crow House together. Neighbors, we became friends, and shared many things: love of good simple food, farmers markets, pets, walking, terrible landlords, love of swimming, art and architecture, dreams and project ideas, politics - including the euphoria when Obama was elected. She was an incredibly kind and generous person, who always made you feel special when in her presence. I will never forgot our summer photographing Crow House and the picnics there or shared meals on the UWS, none more special than the tomato tart she whipped up in my kitchen shortly after the birth of my son. The celebration of her life last night was so meaningful and while I did not meet many of you, I felt as though I knew you through her abounding love for her family and friends. She was grace embodied, loved life, and I truly believe her spirit lives on in all she touched. Miss her so much and my husband Mark and I both feel so blessed to have had her in our lives. Thank you for bringing us all together to celebrate her remarkable life. Her memory will be forever a blessing.

I'm grateful to have met Elizabeth through a work project several years ago. Her photographs were spectacular. But it was also a joy to talk with her. My thoughts are with her family, partner, and friends. May her memory be a blessing.

Respectful and relentless her heart was behind every pursuit she loved. Luminous and incisive her mind understood the fabric of the city. Gentle and precise her photographs made light.

Elizabeth was a wonderful cousin to have. She was sensitive, intelligent, and always interacted with love. She was a wonderful part of Uncle Vinny and Aunt Joan´s beautiful family. The world is poorer without her, and we miss her very much.
