Elizabeth Taylor Obituary

ELIZABETH P. TAYLOR - January 21, 1924 Ð May 4, 2007 - It is with great sadness that we announce that former Greenwich resident Elizabeth Patricia Taylor passed away in peace on May 4, 2007 in Walnut Creek, California. She died as a result of complications from emphysema. She is survived by her husband Brooke S. Taylor, whom she married in 1959 and by her two sons Gordon (45) and Douglas (42) and by two grandchildren Kyle and Eugene.

Born in New Rochelle, New York, Liz had a career as a model working for many New York agencies including the Ford and Conover agencies. After giving birth to her two sons she became actively involved in Greenwich real estate working with Preferred Properties and Ladd and Nichols before forming her own agency, Nutmeg Real Estate. She retired to Walnut Creek, California in 2001.

No services are planned but donations can be made in her honor to the American Lung Association.

My deepest sympathy to the Taylor family. I've lived in Greenwich my whole life & I've seen Mrs. Taylor stop by the Greenwich Library when I worked there many years ago. She was a very kind woman to know.
