Gregor F. Gregorich
Gregor F. Gregorich ("Greg") of Cos Cob, CT, died peacefully on October 20 at age 88.
A lawyer for 36 years with New York City firms, Greg was a voracious reader, an accomplished amateur artist, and an avid skier and bicyclist. Born in Belgrade, Yugoslavia, he immigrated to Illinois in 1950, later graduating with honors from UC Berkeley and earning his law degree from Harvard. He went on to become a partner at two international law firms and served on several boards, including the American Council on Germany and the U.S.-Yugoslav Economic Council. A longtime Greenwich resident, Greg was active in the Riverside Association and Innis Arden Club.
He is survived by his wife, Helma, and their son, Alexander; by his children from his first marriage with Barbara Brown Lott: Andrea and Michael; and by his grandchildren Robert, Laura, Evelyn, Dolan, Sampson, Quinn, and Margaret. He was predeceased by his sister, Elisabeth Gleason, PhD.
A funeral Mass will be held at St. Catherine's Church at 11 a.m. on October 25. Donations in his name may be made to James A. Peters VAMC Bronx, NY at Veteran Affairs: www.cdceportal.va.gov/donate_online.
