James Taylor Obituary
JAMES D. TAYLOR - 60, of Stamford died at his home on Thursday, April 21, 2005 after a long illness. He was the husband of Lucille Condito Taylor. He was born in Stamford on June 20, 1944, the son of George E. & Rose Soltys Taylor. He had resided in Stamford all his life. James was a member of St. Clement's RC Church. He graduated from Stamford High School with the Class of 1963. He was an avid fisherman, hunter and bowler. He loved his family and home and spent much time with his father and made certain that his children all received a College education. He was an avid traveler and was mechanically inclined, including artistically and was keen with his hands. James served in the U.S. Army during the Vietnam War.
Survivors include, besides his parents and wife of 40 years, two daughters, Dawn Taylor Maher of Stamford, Lindsey R. Taylor of Stamford, a son James G. Taylor and his wife Nicole of Norwalk. Also a sister, Penny Taylor of Stamford, two brothers George R. Taylor and his wife Lilian of So. Pasadena, Fl. and Gene Taylor and his wife JoAnn of Fairfield, Ct., two aunts Mary Negyesi and Catherine Bankowski. Several nieces and nephews and a grandson Christian James Taylor of Norwalk and his devoted father-in-law James Condito of Stamford.

He was an employee of T Bar Inc. as Supervisor of Manufacturing for over 20 years and also for the State of Ct. Highway maintenance retiring in 1999.
A memorial mass will be held at St. Clement's RC Church, 515 Fairfield Ave., Stamford on Thursday, April 28, 2005 at 11:00 am. Calling hours will be at the Nicholas F. Cognetta Funeral Home & Crematory, 104 Myrtle Ave., Stamford from 6-8 pm on Wed. April 27, 2005.
In lieu of flowers the family requests that memorial contributions be made to the Alzheimer Disease Association (Fairfield Chapter) 607 Main St., Norwalk, Ct. 06897. Interment will be private.
