Jeanne Giniger Obituary
Giniger – Jeanne. We mourn the passing of Jeanne Giniger, devoted wife, loving mother, the dearest of friends to the many people whose lives she touched. Jeanne was born in Brooklyn in 1928. A lifelong New Yorker, she was a lover of knowledge and a woman of many talents. Through her studies of painting she met her husband, Bernard, to whom she was married for 66 years. After raising her two sons, Michael and Edward, she at last had the opportunity to fulfill her dream of a college education, graduating with honors from Hunter College at the age of 69. A faithful, caring friend, she always knew what to say and always had time to listen. Her boundless kindness brought light and joy to the lives of all who knew her. She is survived by two sons and four grandchildren.
