Joan Santora Obituary
Joan M. Santora, age 74, passed away peacefully from a lengthy illness on December 16, 2014 at Greenwich Hospital while surrounded by her family. Joan was born on June 10, 1940 to her late parents Rocco Santoro and Rose Spezzano Santoro. A lifelong resident of Riverside, Joan attended St. Catherine's School in Riverside and Greenwich High School. Joan worked for the New York Telephone Company at their Harrison, NY location as a telephone operator. Joan was predeceased by brother Albert R. Santoro and is survived by brother Carmine Santoro (Angelina) of Shelton, a sister Barbara Montague Wilson (Edmond) of Danbury, and her sister in law Deborah A. Santoro of York S.C.. She is also survived by 8 nieces and nephews, and 20 great nieces and nephews. Calling hours will be held at Castiglione Funeral Home at 134 Hamilton Avenue, Greenwich, CT on Friday, January 9th from 5-8pm. For online condolences please visit www.castiglionefh.com
